Trying to help a friend

A friend's first grow has been going fairly well other than a little overwatering and some over feeding. They are in happy frog or ocean forest. Using GH Trio. I took one a few weeks ago as he was going to run out of space. I've only fed it twice since June 16. Its growth had slowed to near stopping over the last week. Flushed it yesterday and the highest ppm was over 3000. Got it into the 700s before running out of good water. It looks way better. His are not happy. Stopped by today and took pics and de-foliated some. Both plants have similar issues showing on the leaves. Would a good flush be recommended for these also? They are a week into 12/12.

It wouldn’t hurt.
When growing in bag soil, no bottle nutes for 4 weeks.
Then introduce slowly.
If you’ve been adding bottled nutes from the get go there’s your problem.
Personally I never use veg nutes with bag soil.
By the time the charge is depleted, I’ve flipped and started bloom nutes at half strength.

Best thing you can do is stop flushing and measuring the runoff.
