A 600 watt HPS is the most efficient regarding 400/600/1000 HIDs, and would be the most effective for your money. 600s give the most grams per watt. What is your budget for lighting? Sun System LEC 315 watt CMH fixtures are a great option and on par with 600 watt hps yields. Those units run $500, but the last thing you want to skimp on is your light. Those LEC fixtures are extremely efficient and run cooler than HID lighting. Thanks Chad, I didn't realize just how different this would be from a CFL micro grow. I went over kill with the fan so I wouldnt have to buy another one when I up the size of my tent down the road and since this is being done in the bedroom I'll want to dial it down to reduce noise. I'll definitely look for dyna next trip to the shop. Any opinions on the light I want?
Go with the ipower 600w dimmable hps/mh combo with an air cooled hood. Friendly to your budget, proven, and has all the options you could want. Plus you can't beat Amazon prime! Here's a link below.I have a very low budget, I will end up getting a lower tier 600w mh/hps combo
Never used the ipower but have been using an Apollo 400 for about a year.,,no problems so farI've been debating between the ipower or apollo, I wish I could get some riu user experience for each
