As I said, I don`t trust ONE news channel as they are all biased. But I see the people here choose one side and consume the crap they like only, anybody else is just fascist, cultist, and probably very conservative. They are very open minded only when people thinks like them.

So is there a range of Socialist places in between that the US could fall rather than go full communist? Are the northern neighbours Communist?

Socialism is the stairway to communism, I come from a communist country and I know what I am talking about. You can see for yourself if the "northern neighbours" are communist or not. Do they impose draconian laws to control people? Do they tax a lot to sustain free things for all? Are they very "open minded" leaders only with their fellow party fellas? ou be the judge.

How does that apply to this country's capitalism? Never mind, you're a dolt and not worth responding to. The sociopath will always blame you for the things he himself is guilty of. This attempt to flip the narrative is old and worn.

Also “communism” doesn’t exist. Russia and NK are fascist states with sometimes a Stalinist (not communist) veneer applied. The hard right in this nation actively sought to elevate That Man to the status of absolute ruler. That is neither fascist nor communist, but it shares with Leninism the violent taking of political power.

Communism (and the battle cry Socialism!) are phantom menaces pumped up by your probable faves Fox, OAN, Newsmax and the rest of the insurrectionist “press of lies” to strike FEAR of a manufactured threat to control the base. The other main tool is hatred fostering division to the point that some have actually blurted that there are humans and Democrats. The Repugs are not conservative. They want overthrow followed by the coronation of the most prolific and indifferent liar ever to hold office.

Please give your news sources. I like The Hill, Politico has good reporting but are obvious left leaning, articles. Associated Press, The New York Times but only get the odd story as I do not subscribe, Vox is good but limited in scope, Newsmax which does not lie outright but leaves out information to a story to support their agenda, my local paper is pretty good, Al Jazeera, The Times of Israel, just to name a few.

Please give us a whiff of your tastes.

You come from a communist country, you are more than qualified to say what communism is. I am a Canadian. I do not consider us a communist country and we have not slid to communism since my understanding of what communism and socialism is from the 70's.

Please define communism for us. I live in a socialist country where we have governments that do our bidding. We elect representatives that make up our governments and if we do not like what they are doing we vote them out.

Canada in your mind is a communist country. So where does the line in the sand sit as far as communist countries and ones that are not?
