Just like last week in the UN concerning the movement of the US Embassy to Jerusalem, and the US recognition of Jerusalem as being the undivided capital of Israel, where that any country that voted against would be put on a "list", Trump is pulling the same shit again
Trump, for instance, declared Saturday that he will not sign legislation protecting hundreds of thousands of young people who were brought to the U.S. illegally as children unless Congress agrees to fund his promised border wall as well as overhaul the legal immigration system. Trump last year ended the Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, which shielded more than 700,000 people from deportation and gave then the right to work legally in the country, and gave Congress until March to find a fix.
Trump said any deal to fund his fucking wall must stop immigrants from being able to sponsor their extended family members and must end the diversity visa lottery, which draws immigrants from under-represented parts of the world .
This administration on Friday unveiled a 10-year, $18 billion request for the wall that screwed the immigration talks and pissed oof Democrats who've spent months in negotiations, increasing the prospect of a government shutdown.
But Trump appeared oblivious to the anger on Saturday. "We hope that we're going to be able to work out an arrangement with the Democrats," he said. "It's something, certainly, that I'd like to see happen."
So, to get the $18 billion he needs to build his " a Big Wall, a Really Big Wall", he is holding a sword above the heads of all the participants in DACA, and most current immigration programs, expecting the Democrats to cave in, and give him his money, or off with their heads.
i say fuck him and the GOP, and let them expose themselves to the anger this will create in most true Americans that believe in mercy for the children of the undocumented immigrants, not to mention all those other persons that are trying to better their lives by immigrating to this country.
If needed, I say shut this fucking government down, and tell Trump to shut the fuck up, because he does not represent the values of MOST of it citizens, not by a long shot.
