Trump wants a "Space Force"

President Donald Trump thinks the United States should launch a “Space Force,” a branch of the military devoted to wars in space.

“Space is a war-fighting domain, just like the land, air and sea,” Trump said on Tuesday at the Marine Corps Air Station Miramar. “We may even have a Space Force, develop another one, Space Force. We have the Air Force, we’ll have the Space Force.”

He also described the U.S. military as “vital to ensuring America continues to lead the way into the stars.”

We are truely fucked

Fucking idiot in chief. Pretty sure there are treaties about not militarizing space and what could possibly go wrong with lots of nukes orbiting the planet.
This is correct.
Probably already exists
Yes, indeed the Air Force (among other services) already has space based intelligence gathering and other unspecified assets.

What is as yet unlikely is a manned military facility in space, mainly due to the extreme expense (even for the military) and the fact that everything up there is either remotely operated or automated.

Frankly, a full time space based presence is a desirable goal. Current treaties call for space to remain weapons free and while I personally would like to see that continue, as a realist I'm not sure how long the human race can resist the 'necessity' of weaponising space.

and the Media is laughing all the way to the bank, too..seems they're the crazy ones with 24/7 coverage of his next fart, and are almost as much to blame as The Pedo for pummeling us with his nonsense.

Jesus..isn't Twitter and FB enough?

Turned the cable off, men..it was long overdue.
