TRUMP INDICTED

Everything you said is correct, and I agree with you, but the moment he’s put behind bars for contempt is the moment he wins the election.
If he’s jailed for one of the actual charges he’s facing, it’s harder to spin that into being persecuted, but jailed on contempt is a free pass to the White House for Trump.
This is the reason the judges have been so lenient with his BS so far.
Not because he’s a former President but because they know they could inadvertently hand him an election victory by holding him in contempt of court.
This is why he’s trying so hard to piss off the judges and prosecutors.
Trump wants to be held in contempt and it’s been his plan all along.
I had not thought of it like that. Thanks.

Do you have anything to back up that opinion?

People who are watching the details of the cases can clearly see that trump has committed Contempt of Court many times and according to the law of the land, must be deterred from these attempts to pervert justice. Fines have shown to be an insufficient deterrent and he cannot be allowed to intimidate witnesses and otherwise corrupt the proceedings. Intelligent, reasonable people can clearly see that.

Trump voters "minds" are already made up so it's irrelevant. They don't care about trial by a jury of one's peers, or the US constitution, or anything but Orange Hitler's ascendance.

Looking at the elections of the last decade — especially in the states not on a coast — intelligent, reasonable people are in insufficient supply.

With the other trials shunted onto sidelines for the duration, Merchan knows he must not fumble the ball or get sacked by a shockingly resilient opposition.

Equal justice is a great idea, but it has its limits. I have been hoping all along that the justice system would terminally process that man entirely within its rules. However, the tiered justice system is a political reality that makes for a more subtle game, with higher stakes difficult to imagine.

The only and unconditional imperative for Merchan is to win this hand. Both sides are all in.

personally i would like to see Braggs and Merchan drag those orange turd mall rats in for contempt. Then after that drag the actual orange turd and serve him to with contempt. When i got to work and clicked on my news, i found a couple of new articles saying that they should, i'm inclined to believe that they should.

now the question is, if the orange turd is hit with contempt again and possibly jailed (i know maybe or maybe no) should the other DA's like in DC and Georgia revoke his bail? That question was possed by someone in this thread

imo i think they should after this.....
It would be nice to see that happen. He would cry nonstop about it, and might even become more deranged/dangerous once he sees what it is like and knows all this shit show he has been pulling since running for the Republican nomination (as soon as he fled DC before Biden was inaugurated to try do this 'immunity' delay game he is pulling now to give him a shot at not facing justice) if he somehow has enough foreign dictators trolling enough Americans with brainwashing propaganda to trick them into keeping him in office

I think it will for sure 'activate' his 'base' but im still not sure at all about actually winning him any new votes from it. It will help to focus more on his message which almost sounds good because it can then help his minions/useful idiots running as third party tickets into solidifying a anti-Biden message from all the major electorates that they have been attacking nonstop since at least 2014.

This is the reason the judges have been so lenient with his BS so far.
No question about that. It is like some stupid game of 'I'm not touching you' that Trump is playing like the brat he is. Knowing that if they hit him he can cry about it.

I think this is also a lot of the problem that Comey was facing with having to come out and talk shit about Clinton to get ahead of Giuliani's troll about 'weiners sick pic laptop'. But I also I think Trump and the Russians have been pulling this same scam though since 2016 in the full view of everyone though when the big doofus said "Russia if youre listening".

When a couple months prior we know Dipshit Jr was meeting with the "Crown Prosecutor" of Russia.

And I have a lot more confidence in the competency of Biden and the Democrats who are pulling the best and brightest from 100% of the nation and not just relying on dipshit cultists (I'll also include dumbasses in cults like proud boys and 3 percenters who trick themselves into thinking whatever crazy shit they believe is not stupid as shit), sissy politicians, and foreign dictators.

The people Biden has working with/for him are the ones that did their homework and didn't fuck around in school/life enough to make the shit decisions they did that wound them up working for Trump's dumbass. And from the moves that have been making it is pretty clear that they knew the playbook Trump was going to use and have been game planning almost as long as Trump/Putin/insert dictator has been.

Idk where you are at, but here in Michigan Democrats won across the board afor the first time Reagan was in office, which I think makes it sufficient if not optimal here anyways.

Luckily 12 random Americans get to sit in and decide, because at the end of the day it doesn't change anything. Democrats need to step up and do what they have been doing ever since they got rocked by Putin helping Trump win in 2016 by catfishing our populous.

Unfortunately, Martyr Trump is picking up support in the African American, and Latino, communities.
When asked why they’re changing their minds about Trump, most people responded “I know what it’s like to be falsely/wrongly accused”.

Neither demographic showed up for Trump at the polls last time. Right now he’s polling higher with both, and enough to make a difference.

'picking up support' v 'conning through a very pinpointed catfishing propaganda attack'

Screen Shot 2024-05-15 at 6.16.25 PM.png

Again, people see the attack for what it very much is and have understood it. So we will see if all those Republicans who see through Trump's bullshit and are unwilling to let him win is more or less than the fringe that are radicalized enough to vote for Trump in those key states that it takes to sneak Trump back into office.

Who knows maybe they can make enough AI blackface ads for Trump that it matters, but I think enough people are smarter than that it won't win him enough votes he didn't have when he left office to beat another old white guy who is not trying to be a dictator and ruin what we have here.

When asked why they’re changing their minds about Trump, most people responded “I know what it’s like to be falsely/wrongly accused”.
Who is 'they'.

Was actually pretty good rant by morning Joe this morning on it.

I would have liked to heard them question if NYT poll answers(?) have been part of any kind of data breached and are just super low hanging fruit for foreign militaries to conduct pinpointed brainwashing campaigns on. If they knew the few thousand people who actually answer these polls it would be super easy to just make sure they are constantly spammed with propaganda.

Neither demographic showed up for Trump at the polls last time. Right now he’s polling higher with both, and enough to make a difference.
Nah I think this is just one of those 'people say' things. Trump had enough brainwashed in 2020 that what people are seeing now is just those loud voices/online trolls catfishing them into thinking it is much different.

West coast, sure. Northeast coast, sure.

Southeast coast is MAGA-land. Except maybe Georgia but Trump is favored to win in Georgia though it's still a toss up.
I was talking about general trends, and there are definite rulebreaker states. Colorado comes to mind, and of course the Gulf states are stuck in the 1850s (except in isolated aerospace ghettos), with all the atavistic evils that brings with it.

At day’s end, my near-total failure to prognosticate the happenings of the last twelve months strongly suggests that my models are at best seriously incomplete. So taking my opinions with a fat hit of hello-floor! weed is a fairly safe bet. Bad Karma gave me something to consider today … something that supersonic heat-seeking prosecutors like Kirschner are not really set up to work into their otherwise informative take.

You have plenty of company in the failure to prognositcate category.

Which character in the following cartoon is mistaken?

Given that virtually every decision is to some degree a prediction — “where shall we go for dinner?” makes assumptions about a future experience — it is remarkable just how bad we as a species are at it. Ancient civilizations credited the crazed and addled for insight, or were willing to seek destinies in entrails, excrement or the stars. We’ve advanced considerably in technique — although horoscopes remain popular — but the future remains as unknowable as ever.

That somehow Biden dug up Trumps chances. Which is bullshit.

Biden had to overcome the pandemic and Trump's shit handling of it, Trump's agreement with the Taliban to evacuate the shit positioned troops Trump left behind in Afghanistan, Putin coming off of 4 years of American intel/cooperation in his hitler-esque goals, a American leadership starved NATO facing the more emboldened dictators, the worst economy since the well before the last economic devastation the last Republican POTUS left for Democrats to clean up, global climate catastrophes, ruined people due to extremely racist inhumane border policies, courts stuffed full of zealots looking to turn us into a rich white man's fiefdom, trolls that Trump appointed/hired triggering their con at inopportune times to help with material for the continued propaganda attack, on and on.

Here is a compilation of what Biden's job is every couple days:

Exactly, also Trump ditching the Iran/Nuke agreement has them a month from a bomb instead of a yr.,MORE WINNING right Orangeman, the flipping of the narrative of 2016/2020 and it's consequences is off the FKN charts, the fact that this CKsucker is even getting a sniff of the Oval Office qualifies as the biggest most perplexing CON of my lifetime,WTF is WRONG w/ people? How dumbed down can they be?What does the rest of the world think about Americans who are down w/.such flagrant BS and ineptitude. If this clown had actual policies(which he doesn't) he's be disqualified solely on character 20-30 yrs ago.THIS IS NOT POLITICS AS USUAL it's a choice between handing the keys to a decent human being or Satan basically,I literally can't/won't share a room w/a Trump supporter, there is ABSOLUTELY no conditions in existence in which I can theorize supporting Trump and I find myself completely disassociated w/basically half the country as they sleepwalk through this destructive path he's blazed. I literally can't grasp the continuing complicity of the Supreme Court,Federal judges, evangelicals, the R party and the whole deranged posse who support this chamelion fraudster, heaven help us this Nov. if sanity doesn't prevail.

I think the cartoon was more about an idea that Democratic Party leaders were hoping to run against Trump instead of a (fill in the blank) Republican. I never believed that Democrats were pulling for Trump in the primary for that reason. There may have been one or two cynics who did but they would only prove the rule that we, including leadership in the party, never wanted Trump to even have a chance at the office of POTUS. Not the first time and not again.

That said, everything you listed as Biden's accomplishments seem to matter little to 40% of this country and Biden has to scrape together a coalition to overcome that plurality of the electorate. If polling is telling us the truth, 40% support Biden, 40% support Trump and 20% will decide the outcome in November, with an Electoral College bias that favors Trump. I believe in democracy and that voters will once again decide for democracy and vote in Biden. But at this time, compared to May 2020, I don't see nearly as much evidence that this is going to be the case.

That Trump is getting his way to have debates this early tells us all we need to know about how well things are going for him. I think both candidates see this election as toss-up and think that a good showing for them in the debate will change things in their favor.

I don't think it is much different than it was in 2016, outside of Trump not being able to use (directly, he still has plenty of flunkies left over to burn their careers for him) the office of the presidency to push his hate mongering propaganda (thinking protest beating bible stunt). Biden still needs to win huge to win, just like the last time. States purging voters, still gerrymandered districts causing mayhem for voters in Democratic areas, voter suppression through intimidation in states like Florida, etc haven't gone away thanks to obstruction by Republicans and a Manchurian Democrats.

Im with you on trusting the voters, but at the end of the day it really doesn't matter if I trust them or not, because it will be up to us all to keep our nation out of Trump's goal of his dictatorship.

One thing that drives me nuts about a lot of coverage about it is when I hear them say things like"Biden desperately needs whatever shit they are talking about to stop Trump". Biden is a rich ass old as fuck white man who can just talk to a group for a hour and make a hundred k. He doesn't need shit, he will be just fine regardless of well, anything. It is Americans and the rest of the free world that desperately need Biden to win in November. It is up to us to lift his old ass over the finish line.
