I hope ! My and the old lady were talking this morning. It’s really possible these are 30 years old . Been kept in a 35 mm film container . It’s a old ass strain but hoping for the old skunk . Opinions please ! What’s the best route just in case . Split in half and attempt 5 , clone everything that pops ? Can I store pollen from a male ?

I would do some research before just trying to grow them as you would with fresher seeds.
I forget but I think you can take a certain acid and make a solution to help with germ rated
My method for seeds is scuff, then into a cup of water with a cap full of 35% h202 in it for a few minutes, then into low nutrient water for 12-24 hours then into the coco coir with heating mats because it's cold here
I think with seeds that old there are more techniques though. I would assume active soil would be better to germ in than a sterile medium. Good luck dude!!!

There are techniques on storing males. You can also store cuttings in a refrigerator
If you do end up wanting to make seeds it would be nice to have a mother and father ultimately for large production
You could also reverse a female to get some fem pollen if all you get is females and want to make some seeds. Pollen from a male can be diluted and stored for I think 2-10 years

Isn't it gibberellic acid that helps old seeds pop? I believe even some Hydrogen peroxide in some water will also help?

I’m pulling them at 24 hrs and setting them in paper towels . I added a small amount of hydrogen peroxide. Tapped them and have sinkers so time will tell .

I was in a touring band back in the 90s. While playing a show in Portland one year we had some girl score us a 1/4oz of some of the stinkiest skunk weed I ever smelled. For the next week that bud stunk up our van and any hotel we stayed at. It was unreal. Hope you get lucky and it turns out like that!!! haha

Oh ya BC? Because there's a Vancouver WA too, lol. I know what you mean though. We would go up there sometimes too since I was in Seattle and it was only a couple hours away. That was when they first decriminalized it.
