TRUE OR FALSE Finishing in a big pot results in larger yield?

Thanks guys for the great inputs!!!

I wil transplant them into a 4-5 gallon growbag.

I just watered them with Lucas Formula 0-8-16 on Sunday (about two days ago) When should I transplant?

You want to transplant shortly after watering, I would water then transplant the following day, but if your soil is real moist,go for it....
Is that right? This is why I asked because I have heard numerous times to transplant when the soil is dry?

Should I cut the grow bags or flip them out?

Mine are hitting 18 inches in 4 weeks under nothing but t8s. cheap ass t8s with cheap ass bulbs with cheap ass electric. if you cant tell...im a cheap ass. seriously though, home depot has a bad ass 6bulb t8 set up for 80 bucks. killer results per dollar
also after i take 150 clones@10 per plant with out the clones it would be around 28" and would finish to high for my tent, i know what homedopt/lowes carries i work in the construction field lol, i also have a grow in a 10x12ftx12 high greenhouse, you dont know my grow or how i work it to produce 5lbs every 65 days so close you hole that spewth nonsence to the masses

Transplant when dry ONLY, it encourages new root growth because the old soil is dryer then the new soil, a wet soil will break apart and weights alot and the unsupported weight can damage the fine roots, water as normal after transplant (I always water with a brewed tea of bat/worm castings) If using bags cut the bag and get black nursery pot as they are easier to transplant from, i use a keg cup after cloned and go to a 1 gallon then a 2 gallon then use a 3.89L as a my finisher, my plants finish out @ 4-5ft. I usually trans plant lke this

I use a large kiddy pool for transplant work less mess
take your larger pot put a layer of soil deep enough to bring the level of the plant the the water rim in the pot, you can check by placing the potted plant in the larger pot
next remove potted plant with a little sqeeze and a tap on the rim with a screw driver handle, the pot should fall to the floor rather easy,

set the plant in the kiddy pool for a moment, take the old pot that fell on the floor and put it in the new larger pot and fill with new soil till you reach the water rim, remove old pot from new pot thats is filled you now have a perfect transplant hole put you plant in the newly prepped pot

now poke your fingers around the perimeter a few times ( I do 4) you dont want to pack it entirely you do this to stabilize the plant till finished filling, now add enough soil to fill the pot, now gently drop the pot on the floor a few times to pack the soil, when i say gently i drop it maybe 1-2 inches

False. Bigger root system = bigger plant. However a bigger pot will allow you to accommodate such a root system.

Plants attempt to keep as equal as possible a 50/50 size ratio between above ground growth and below ground growth. Of course roots do not look like stems, branches, leaves etc but in volume, in overall mass plants do want as equal as possible ratio. When you inhibit root size with small pots you inhibit what can grow above ground.

Being tough plants cannabis can do well without a 50/50 ratio, but it will never do as well as it otherwise would without the chance to have a 50/50 ratio.

If getting 75%, or if you're lucky, maybe 80% of what a plant can give you is enough, then use small pots. If you want all a plant can give you, use large pots.

Thanks everyone for the input.

I will transplant them tomorrow and water them immediately with RO water. Q- should I add GH organic CALMAG+ to the RO water?

I will cut the grow bags I suppose since it seems much better then trying to flip the entire plant over and risking damage.
