True hermie?

I have a friend that is growing a strain we have in common in anlight depo he claims the strain is poping balls everywhere which would worry me if... He wasnt claiming another strain that inal familar with is doing it aswell... Can light leaks cause female to pop balls??

severe light leaks can cause this, but he would need to be flowering it in his living room with the flat screen on 24/7 to do this. I've seen an outdoor plant with a street lamp above it flower on one side facing away from the lamp and not hermie out. More than likely it is either a male. Or genetically it tends to be a hermie under low stress conditions. It is all about how much stress is on the plant. They hermie when they think the end is near. They want to self pollenate when they about to die so that those "awesome" genes they got can survive. Think about what stressors are present and tell your buddies plants to just relax, man.

I too had a hermie recently found seeds and all in week 5 of flowering pulled it was packed with seeds.... I have 26 other beautiful girls left int eh 10x7 room and not noticed any balls or seeds yet but worried as hell there is going to be more seeds FML!
