Tropicanna Poison F1 fast version from Sweet Seeds

Just defoliated today. Took off some baby nodes I thought would get overcrowded. This picture is from before I did that. I’ll have to get another picture in the morning

Im back. Life happened to me, so I forgot to post. Here’s an update;

i was always curious about this strain, doesnt this one have red flowers?

It's supposed to. Same company's "Red Hot Cookies" went purple on me. Definitely past red but she was beautiful!

Allegedly there is a chance. The seeds came with this

my goodness, she is growing. I think it’s been a month of life for her. I topped the central branch left from the FIM, and have that rooting now for seeds. Root for me please.

Now that’s a nice even canopy. I wanted to cut those inner branches down and reduce them to a single node each. So I did.

Just realized it’s been a few days since I last updated. I’m not sure she could grow much faster. Every time I open the door it seems like it’s bigger.

Part of me is scared of how much it’s growing. I have to keep training and defoliating every few days to keep good air flow. I’m trying to give each top their own space, but the spaces keep filling in!

i think she needs a top dressing. I can imagine the roots are filling the pot by now, ready for a bigger home.. I wasn’t planning on repotting until just before I flip to 12/12

I’m just gonna wait a few more days for that. It’s tempting to fill the whole space, but I have never seen how much this plant will stretch, so I’m gonna flip sooner.

Repotted today, and flipped to 12/12. I used Dr. Earth Flower Girl with happy frog. She looked stressed out today. Gotta admit, I’ve been neglecting her a little lately because I’m out of the house so much. This should help.

Got some roots showing, so I put the clone in a little cup. Applied silver thiosulfate to one of the branches. I’m beyond excited to see if this works

I never had good luck with any of the red plants from sweet seeds. I'm interested, I still have some Tropicana Cookies

It’s so beautiful, I’m getting emotional looking at it how did she grow up so fast?
The roots on my clone are already poking out the bottom of its cup. I guess I’ll give it a pot. Gotta give the roots what they want.

Quality. Loose buds and no THC content. Tried twice

Their Red Hot Cookies turned out beautiful, although they were purple, not red.

That sucks. I did read a few comments about sweet seeds being overpriced for how reliable their genetics are. That was after I already got the seeds, of course.. I’ve read lots of great reviews too, but a few comments like yours make me wonder if I’ll buy from them ever again.

Regardless of what the plant looks like you can always turn it into a concentrate
