Trimming / reducing Fan leaves

So my girls are getting bushier
I think its the climate here that girls nearly wider as tall ;)
And I was wondering is lypos... I mean trimming a few fan leaves (getting rid altogether or halving them like I have seen done on clones an idea to get more light and better air circulation

Pics please and yes you want to get rid of some for airflow
 
I would clean up anything that is in the dirt, but otherwise don't strip off any other leaves. Your plant is just getting going.
 
I would leave them a few days then maybe repot them with more soil so the plant is higher in the pot. You don't want be trimming nothing off yet
