Hi i've got 3 plants outside now. They've been vegging for a month inside then outside for 2 weeks. I was wondering if I should trim off some of the fan leaves or should I just let them grow?

Don't remove ANYTHING unless it is obviously senescent. Those leaves are there for a reason - they take in photons and convert it to plant matter. Cutting healthy leaves from a healthy plant, esp. outdoors, is like cutting off your nose to spite your face. Don't do it, it's not good for the plant. I know some people advocate removing fan leaves, but I don't for the reason I just gave, and because time is at a premium in the field. That is (duh) when you're most likely to be busted - minimize field TIME - maximize effort. The time you spend trimming isn't worth what you gain, in terms of risk. Get in and out, fast.

As for your single track spot - are there treelines? An area with shrubs/forbs along the treeline? If so, put a few there along the tree line, inside the drip line (unless they are walnut trees) to hide from the choppers.
