Trimming and SCROG Advice

Hi there, so i am in week 1 of flower, using happy frog soil feeding fox farm big grow and tiger bloom every other watering, temp is mid 80s humidity is 30%, using a 600w hps for flowering, (was using 600w mh for veg, vegged for 8 weels) i have FIM'd them, LST'd them and have set up the scrog, they are just barely poking through the screen now. i am just wondering, I HAVE THICK LOWER BRANCHES that arent getting the sunlight they need, SHOULD/CAN I TRIM THEM?!!? i feel like the plant is sending too much nutrients and spending too much energy on these low branches that will not make it in the long run. ALSO i am wondering how i should place the plants under the screen for the biggest yield possible, i was thinking one in each corner? any advice is much appreciated.

Hey man, nice looking ladies
From my experience I trim my lower branches (lollipopping) to help the main canopy that will be scrogged gettin as much growth as possible, have a look for a forum in lollipopping they will give you some great advice
