Triming wet or dry opinions are appreciated

Everyone got their own way and I did wet trimming, twisters and huge racks. But I’m soo glad I learned that’s really bad but also not helping me in soo many factors.

I let my plant dry fully, in dark , 60 rh, under 60f for 14-21 days

than use a wood moisture meter (cost 20 bucks ) and insert the probe into the buds, once buds are at 12-15% i than cut into smaller pieces but keep at least enough stem where I can “hold” the stem when trimming and makes it so I can turn in 360 and never touch the buds with fingers . The less amount u touch the better the quality and it’s a huge thing On end results. I won’t ever put stuff in turkey bags or drying racks because the buds even if dried will flatten and also degrade on the in[act of buds ontop pf eachother. So the best route is use a 5 gall food grade bucket with a true seal top for the bucket “gamma seal”. if larger projects/harvest I suggest getting good grade storage touts . Key is leaving ur plants on stem till you final trim and makes world diff to de-stem right before that time. this makes exp if you are not trimming it and selling it asap u can keep ur shelf life and also stability of ur product at highest % u can. Darkness, rh, and temp are key! Also I use a interga boost 67 gram 62% rh to keep its stability in the storage container. Than if u question if correct use the digi rh and/or the wood moisture to see if stable/correct.

i will mark date of when dried plant is in storage, everyday I’ll burp the off gasses for 30 min-1hr for 10-14 days. when trimming I suggest to destem, than trim each vs all at once and i even use a head maginfer with led to make my precision cuts way more efficient vs a lot of trimming crews they will man handle, train to over trim and really that level of over trimming looks more machine cut than anything and def degrading to overall qc .

after trimmed or just for storage, keep same enviroment as drying and have the containers as sealed and dark as possible.

wet trimming if u look under maginfer and also see the crystals stick but also the end results it’s def a big no-no. any person i see who did wet trimming it’s def noticeable to me and I def can spot it, why do it when it’s def not faster, better qc and also the way dried is asking for issues ( laying on racks vs lines for dry trim )
