having moved on to my second batch in my first grow of plants (first were all males:twisted: ). i have some rather tidy looking plants about 14 inchs high in my veg room
now what i,m wondering is there are some massive fan leaves which appear to be blocking a lot of the new growth. one of my friends says i should leave them well alone during veg other says trimming the odd fan leaf to encourage new growth is better - who,s right??

I have a question.
I'm aware that the number of blades on fan leaves decreases as the plants progresses towards flowering however being only a couple of days past solstice I notice mine putting out 3 blade fan leaves already just in the last couple of days.
I am still going hard with vegetative fertilizer and not bloom yet trying to get as much out of the veg cycle as possible and I have not removed a single fan leaf yet.
Does this sound normal? I don't recall this happening so fast in the past.
I'm wondering if it is a characteristic of this particular strain or if any other factors come into play.
Any insight would be appreciated.
