Trim wet or dry?

I've always trimmed wet, although I have many friends that chop all the plants down at once hang them whole and trim once dried, they swear on it makes them smell better for cures while dries, truth? Any thoughts? Thanks

tried dry once, (leaves protect buds, slower dry, blah blah). as actont says, a PITA later when all you want to do is smoke it, not trim all over again. IMO, reward doesn't outweigh PIA factor.

dry.

I have done wet and dry and when I trim dry, while it is more involved, the end result is better smell and taste.

I do remove large fan leaves before I hang them to dry.

i do a whole hung plant dry
then i do a semi wet trim about 4 days before jar. total of 12-14 days to hang dry and i have methods of kind of slowing it down.
i also take all fan leaves off and trash them at day 3-5 of hang dry which is when i chop the plant up and put things closer to eachother on the hanging lines

Hmmm ok.. I don't know what's going on, I'm at day 55 and they're still not done. Trichs are still cloudy with the rarity of Amber.. Last run same genetics went to day 55 perfect.. I did change my blooming additive to bloombastic instead of liquid koolbloom early flower and dry late in flower.. I know it's off topic from trimming wet or dry but I still haven't cut them down.. My only thing with cutting and trimming dry is it takes about 3 days to trim my garden and I'm afraid on day 3 of trimming those plants will be so dry they're going to be over dried.. Sucks cause I've been flushing (in NFT hydro) for a week they're going to look real yellow if I go another week without nutes.. Should I continue to flush or give them a little snack to keep from yellowing so bad. 2 week flush sounds good but they're already really starting to show def and yellowing up..

i didnt think any of these whippersnappers would get the double entendre of "trim" I was sad when all the good jokes had already been used :(

I trim wet. I tried dry once, never again.

I did have a crazy thought once though. people trim dry because in low humidity the stems and leaves let it dry slower.
the nightmare of trimming dry is the bud leaf, not the fans.

so how about trimming the bud wet and leave the stems and fans for drying. Then destem and defan it before cure.
then i thought that would be a pain in the ass as well. so back to wet trim.
