Trim Stems or Leaves

I formerly had a disease that has since been resolved. Question: Should the ugly leaves or stems be removed at some point?

Yeah, as long as you have sufficient new growth then most def, I'd cut all that shit off..(the f'd up leaves)

Ive seen a rule saying if 50% or more of a leaf is sick diseased or affected to remove it, otherwise keep it. I lean dont.
