Trim question.

Not sure where to post this. Basic question I guess. But I did something ( or neglected to do ) different this time around. I've got 11 M/F plants indoors currently. Not sexed yet. They are 6w old and I just switched to 12/12 2 days ago. I opted to NOT cut the tops off since I rarely start flowering at 6W as I normally cut tops much earlier and let them go til 8-9W. Or a bit taller, as right now they are roughly 8" tall. I have plenty of height available was my thinking. Question , at what stage/time can I trim some lower branches and leaves? I only have one 1000W HPS and two side LED's ( small 50W). Ideally I would have 2 ( 500W ) HPS for the 11 plants. With this only one larger light as they grow larger just trying to get the most light where it is best used, I was thinking SCROG but its too late I would think as I already started flowering cycle and did not trim the top. THink I should just let them go as-is and trim lower as needed? I just trim most lower leaves and anything that will reach the canopy I leave. Thanks

If you just flipped to flower you can throw a frame and screen up and scrog out the whole time during stretch. I stop tucking just in time for the branches to grow up to the light a little.
