Tried to FIM, what do you think?

3 weeks...Check out my journal and leave some tips If you'd like. These aren't the best pictures, but I can see the growth.... in a few days perhaps I can get a better shot. What exactly should I be seeing and about how long should it take?

Hard to tell/see.
Instead of your lowers growing taller from topping, the tip that you fimmed will form 2, 3 or 4 colas.
Depends on how good you actually fimmed.

I have been giving them a look every now and then, and I do see new growth that looks similar to leaves popping through the cut area. On a side note, one of the plants I tried to FIM seems to have a strange main stem growth (It appears to be not only flat, but splitting or forking...see attached pictures). I have never grown before, so I'm not sure if this is something freakish or if it is something fairly common, but if you take a look and let me know what you think it would be appreciated.
