Tried Sagarmatha Seeds Strains?

Hey all! I'm trying to find out more info on various strains for an outdoor UK grow in a couple of months and an indoor with the rest of the seeds later on in the year. I've narrowed my strains down now (and yes, i'll be having quite a few different strains).

I'm looking for very varied highs and have been searching for info on the tasty looking Sagarmatha Seeds for a while and can't find much.

Anybody who has grown or even smoked Sagarmatha strains, please tell me a brief smoke report and any grow problems.

The strains i'm interested in from them (and there are alot) are:

Strawberry D-Lite
Hawaiian Punch
Matanuska Mint
Diamond Head
Flow
Slyder
Blue Thunder

This is their page, took me a while to find it.

Any help at all is appreciated! Cheers y'all :peace:

Wow, has nobody grown, toked, even seen Sagarmatha? Can't believe how rare they are, I thought they were quite a big breeder. I will be growing one of the above this year (and hopefully more) from Sagarmatha.
If anybody has any info on them, please, I'm glad to know it.

I did alot of work with hedge and yum in the mid-late 90's. I told a buddy to score some genetics and he brought these back from A-dam. I visited there the next two years and came back with rhino, widow, ak, chronic, sensi-star(all the originals from the banks that developed them). I didn't think any of them were as good as the first two in yield or quality. After I got out of it. Those 2 placed and won in the cup a couple years(like 98-2001era). So I can totally vouge for those 2. I thought they had gone out of biz until I found them like you. The sanctuary looks quite interesting.

I grew early riser last year and love it it has earned a spot in my garden forever! Its a great outdoor plant grows fast big and flowers early and heavy with lots of resin very consitantly high quality! Wonderful day time smoke. has a minty taste very good day brightener has the same strength high as mandala #1 but less of a head high. I even got the rare purple pheno same high different taste very much a grape like taste. very underated strain. wont compare to the more high end strains grown indoor and super clones but better than average.

I grew out their stonehedge. it is an excellent genetic! good taste, smell, high and yeild. what more can you ask for?

doc chronic just got my money for some matunuska tundra (also from SAG) and I will be back for more. after getting 10 bubblegum seeds (diff breeder) and getting 9 fems and one that didn't pop, i now always order 20 seeds at a time. I always breed the excellent genetics i buy and not getting a male won't happen again. I miss the old days when you could get 12 - 15 seeds per pack from many breeders.

Best of luck with the many Matanuskas folks! They sound quite a genetic marvel, perhaps more so in the crosses with Grey Mist and Blueberry, they'd be fire!

The Stonehedge sounds great, could you please tell me it's odour level during flowering and possibly describe the high in a little more depth (mostly if theres noticeable perception altering/thought provoking/racey etc qualities)?

Glad to see all good reports so far, there's many Dutch seed breeders who are overlooked in favour of super strength, big names and the many purple, clone-only whore cuts of America.

Keep them coming.

cool thread.. and i couldn't agree more with there being a lot of good breeders out there who get overlooked by some of the big name counterparts... i have never tried saga., but have always looked at some of their strains as well.. i never really hear much about them one way or another.. it was nice to run into this thread and hear some postive reviews of saga..

I smoked some bubbleberry from a dispensary it was some of the best smelling bud I ever had. The high was potent but just not what I'm in to very lethargic and couch locked. Smelled like BB with a hint of BG. And tasted smooth and sweet like BG. So I would have to say there genetics are very good.

I have also seen a dope as scrog grow from a yumboldt clone. Grew very well looked dank as fuck. Anyways I think sagamartha doesn't get a lot of people because the beans are kind of pricey usually (like 250$ and up) and the beans that everyone wants are usually those expensive ones but a lot of seedbanks can't keep it in stock. Yumboldt is hard t5o find. But for 300$ I'd rather buy 2 packs of DJ short gear or a ton of other stuff.

howdy, i always grow a few genetics at a time so i don't really notice if one is more smelly than others. you will need odor control though. the high is simply lovely. not racy at all. you smoke it and 20 mins later you realize that you've been smiling for 18 mins. it's a warm/summer breeze/life is good kind of high. all of my genetics are purchased with quality not quantity in mind so i'm very pleased with the heavyer than usual weight. it and my SSH are my biggest producers. i'll be making mums in a few months and the stonehedge will always be ready for the rotation. so many genetics, so little space! :)

here is a pic of a couple of the stonehedges. i did a thread at gypsy's site under fatboyOGOF where i grew out stonehedge, swiss bliss (another WONDERFUL, never talked about genetic), sensi star and ssh. it clones easily too. the pic is about 30 days into flower. they filled out nicely!

The Matanuska Tundra grows well I topped them to get 4 main colas and have the tops in the clone dome to clone. Nest I have to start sexing them...
ANyone know how to do it without taking 3 weeks in flower?

I always hear people saying they can identify males and females pre-flower. I was just wanting to know if there was any truth to this.

I can only flower 6 plants at once.

your p.m bx is full and if I get on the goog I will have to talk to my girlfriend forever:(

Some plants will have preflowers in veg. Look at the internodes on the main stem. They can be hard to determin it seems but if you see 2 white hairs it is a female.

i veg for about 2 months. some genetics show preflowers some don't. preflowers may show on all older vegged plants but i don't go beyond 2 months so i don't know for sure. the fems preflowers are easy to identify with those beautiful 2 hairs.

i find that if you have 10 plants and 3 or 4 of them are bigger and nicer looking than the rest they tend to be males. bummer eh? ;)

i find the best way is to take a clone and put it into a cup of water and give it 12/12. it will show in a couple weeks or so. no shortcuts unfortunately.
