Tried my hand at schwazzing

The plant needs a way to photosynthesize, so removing all the leaves will have the effect of growing a bunch of leaves.

The better question is will you be doing it again on your next run?

Good result for your 2nd grow. It looks like nice high quality meds too.

I have grown about 10 years and this is the 1st time I have gone with a heavy defoliation, so I will just know if it was worth it. On 1st impressions with my plants it seems it may be worth doing. I'm not sure i'll ever go for a full schwazzing like you did though.

I might when I run some more photos, but I think I will wait a little while longer before I do it to give the buds more time to develop, and when I have 2 to compare.

I think early in flowering is good as other branches are growing to the top. I do wish I had defoliated a bit more in veg though. Next time I will do that. I will probably go for a 2nd defoliation in 2 weeks or so.

I like the comparing idea. I will be doing the same once I get my second flower tent set up. I plan on trying multiple things with clones of strains I want to keep (searching right now), that way I can see what each strain like the best without guessing
