Tricomes never turn white even as top leaves are turning brown

This is Blue Dream growing in a small hydroponic setup with Canna brand nutrients. The plant has been very healthy and has produced some nice looking buds. However, looking at the tricomes under a microscope, they never seem to turn white, even though the plant has been fully grown and on a 10-hour light cycle for a month now. I have had this problem before. Some of the tricomes do look amber but even then they appear mostly clear in the microscope. Also, I took some clones from this same plant and grew them outdoors in soil, and they are showing better maturity than this parent plant.

- Cutting back on the nutrients too early?
- Temp or humidity too high?
- Not adjusting pH properly?
- Some forth thing I'm not aware of?

I've never had trichomes turn whitish or amber by week 4. I'm more concerned about your last photo, there's some kind of deficiency or nute burn, did you say you stopped giving them nutes? I grow in potting mix with infrequent waterings, so not familiar with your hydro technique or nutes, but the last photo kinda looks like phosphorous and/or potassium deficiency. The buds also look older than 4 weeks.

Your growing a Sativa, or Sativa heavy mixed strain.

Thing is with more then a few sativa's don't amber much to at all! Even cloudy trich's sometimes.

BUT, here it looks like you have had a nutrient/feeding issue...

Not much I can say but, I can get more specific if you answer a few questions...

What exactly do you feed? List both veg and bloom please.
List EVERYTHING you add!
How often?
Looks like hydro, so then. How many cycles a day? OR fill me in on what hydro method your running...
Do you use a Cal Mag supplement?
What strain?
Age in that picture?
pH range you use?
How do you refill your res?

Ask me if you don't "get" a question..
