Not sure if my ideology is on point or not, so figured I'd try to ask here.
I'm in NW Illinois and have pushed as far as weather will allow. We have had temps in the mid 30's for last 4 nights and now going to get 3 days of rain starting tonight at 9ish going thru the morning. Due to my schedule, would really prefer to chop tonight vs morning like I have in the past, but not willing to sacrifice all the greatness that comes from early morning harvest.
Can I trick my plants by putting them to sleep with total darkness aka tarps n black sheets, around 3pm and chop around 9pm? Would that give me the same results as early morning chop?
