Trichomes

I've been flowering for about 7 weeks now and all the hairs are now brown and the buds are quite large, tightly packed and very sticky. The trichomes are still clear apart from a few that have turned slightly milky and I was wandering how long to go now???

So Close! You could actually harvest now although my preference would be to wait until about 50% of the trichomes have turned milky and or started to yellow a bit...

does it look like this? ..........

are the hairs all brown? are the calyxes all swollen? has growth stopped? are the nuggets hard when you squeeze them?

where exactly on the plant do you check your trichs? the very top of the cola? the lower nuggets? the leaves? the calyxes?

uhmm well all over, bc the bottom ones usally are the first to change so you should check all over the plant, bottom, top cola(s). Anywhere just for an all around overlook of the trichromes on the plant.
