I am currently in week 3 of flower 90 % or my plants look like this IMG-20120524-00064.jpg IMG-20120524-00063.jpgIMG-20120524-00062.jpg

as far as having what i consider to be good Trichome production in my opinion. My question is regarding these twoIMG-20120524-00061.jpgIMG-20120524-00060.jpg
as they have barely started to produce Trichomes. Also the leaves on these two plants seem to be almost mini leaves. Is this a defect that i can fix ( rhizotonic or some other rooting formula)(basing it on I've heard plants with smaller leaves have root mass issues.) or just let it ride and see how it goes?

strain: Purple kush x Blackberry kush
Nutrients : CES 3part + CES additives and also run with Bayer Advanced(systemic fungicide and insecticide) all in one during week one of flower its ratings were 9-14-12.

I know this response is kinda late, but I wanted to respond to your post anyway. This is definitely from using Bayer. I have had the same issue on many a crop from using a variety of insecticides. I would recommend discontinuing use of any chemical insecticides in the future. However, if you do use chemicals and you notice low trichome production, it's important to lower your T.D.S. And stay away from all bud finishers, ie. budswell, overdrive, bud candy and the like.
