Trichome check!!

Hey growmies! I got a trichome check for yall, and I need some advice. I want to throw her into a dark period before the big chop but I wanted some feedback first on how these crystals are looking. I compared it to some previous charts and they look about ready to me but I just wanted check in with the community. I have some photos of the trichomes without a light and some with so you can see how we lookin. Sorry for the blur tried to keep a steady hand lol Much love and thanks in advance ❤

Thanks! I wasn't sure how long it takes for them to all turn amber since I discovered a few lol didn't want too much of a couch lock effect

If this is the chart you're going by you should stop using it. It's completely wrong and if you go by it you will harvest early and end up with an inferior product. As for not wanting couchlock then grow a strain that doesn't produce that effect. Always grow your cannabis until it's done. Don't harvest early because you fear amber trichomes will give you a couchlock effect. You'll end up with low quality cannabis.

The overall look of the plant suggests to me that it still has a few weeks to go, how long has it been in flower?

Eta... +1 I don't subscribe to a dark period, I do it due to circumstances but I'm quite sure it makes absolutely no difference.

It's been in flower for 8 weeks with each day the trichomes getting cloudier than before so I'll just wait it out, might start the flush next week or so.

I wouldn't even be looking at them yet... that plant needs waaay longer. Probably 4 weeks. How long is it since you flipped it?

Your calyx's aren't fully developed!

Didn't see this one.... expect to run for 10 weeks in an ideal growing condition.... I expect this will run for maybe 12 or 14. Hold tight and keep doing what you been doing.... keep feeding.
