one of my plants is a definite triploid or whatever the real technical term is for a plant with 3 cotyledons which then sprouted 3 sets of leaves on every node. (from the top it looks like the Mercedes insignia). iv been researching this rarity and have heard a lot of wild things that im not entirely sure of. one thing i heard is that they all turn male or hermi and that they usually get mutated and disfigured. but my plant is more than 10 times the size and foliage as 9 other plants i started at the very same time. and above that, the last time i planted seeds from the same seed batch that this crazy plant came from, all 11 of them were female which leads me to believe these seeds are most likely from a grower who naturally weeded out male traits from their plants (possibly feminzed though i dont know). my plan is to clone this badass plant so i can continue the genetics and possibly get a clone to impregnate itself. but im very curious as to how superior (if at all) this plant is to a regular biploid. what i heard is that they can and will grow 33% faster bigger and denser, and produce 33% more yeild. if u know something or have had experience with these freaks, please tell me everything u know.
