Are you going full strength? That's not a bad idea about the clay pellets, you'll have problems if that rockwool is sitting in water starting with root rot. If you don't have a ec or ppm moitor in your res's you have no idea where your at. Until you have equipment like this you need to go half strength at least to avoid over fert.Ph is at about 6.2. dont have a ec meter yet ( is that a problem ) the leaves have a tiny lightening on the tips but the actual leaf is real dark green.
I'm feeding them IONIC Bloom ( did start with IONIC Grow ) and my lighting is a 6oow hps.
Will the plant adjust to nutes as it has water constantly running through the roots or will it kill them if i dont change the tank with a lower dose.
Also on a side note > the rockwool in the tray seems to have slipped down and i have read that the rockwool should not sit in the water. Would it be o.k for me to slide some clays pebble underneath them
But thats the thing! i only used a quarter strength ( it says on the Ionic bottle to use 70ml for 10 litres and i have a 20 litre tank so that would be 140ml. but i only put 30ml in there) the plants are autoflowering fems and i gave them grow nutes for the first 3 1/2 weeks until the white hairs came up (flowering right? ) then i put them in the nft system ( first time using one/and first time grower ) and switched to the bloom nutes. Are you going full strength?
