transplating week 1 of flowering?

is it okay to transplant during the first week of flowering? for some reason my instinct tells me no because the plant would spend more energy of rooting than flowering, is this possible?

some one help quick!!! i'm about to go buy some 4 gallon pots if this is not the case..

hey 420. I had to transplant one of mine recently.It was actually in the third wk. of flower. I had to do it because the pot it was in was to small. Was'nt planning to keep the plant, but it looked so good i wanted to keep it! Which required the larger pot. I'm into the 6th wk. of flower , and it seems to be doing ok. Maybe slightly stunted. Just make sure you water the plant your going to transplant,and make sure the soil your going to put it in,is moistened and ready to recieve your root ball. Bury the main stem of the plant a couple inches below soil line. Your plant should be fine.( Oh...also for the first week after transplanting, keep your lights alittle further back from the plant). Good growing!

yeah that's actually why I wanted to transplant one of them right now. it's real close to the light compared to the others and I want a bigger pot so I don't have to use the rack that the plants are on, yet still have the plants close to the light.

yeah I'll probably just transplant one for now and see how it does.

If you have a reason to transplant, then do so. A hearty plant will adapt well. Be gentle and you will also see more yield from the extra roots that will grow in.
