My plants seem to be rootbound. Its day 18. Would it be smart to transplant fro 3 gallon pots to 5 gallon pots?

My general rule for transplanting is I wait until I see roots come out of the drain holes and the plant uses all of the water I give it in 1 to 2 days. Its worked for me so far. What makes you think its root bound?

Thanks. They use most of the water in 2 days and they are growing slower and the other one that is in abigger potter is really doing a lot better than the others that are in smaller pots.

you could go from a rooted clone to a 1000 gallon pot. the bigger the best the plants like. some people think its best to wait until roots shoot out of the small container then size bigger and do it again. I belive its best to quit fucking around put those fucks into the container your plan on flowering them in. plants know what to do. there not stupid. lol. in your case . some times a plant will grow a lot faster then another, a gallon pot is big enough for some people to get it 7 feet tall and make 6 or more ounces. post some pics of your sick plant so we can take a look at it ,
