Transplanting Question

Is it true that a transplant basically sets your plant back an entire week? Like, I heard that if you transplant into a larger pot, it takes the plant a good week to readjust and recover from being transplanted. Is this true? Or is transplanting perfectly ok on the plant as long as you're gentle?

theres always going to be a chance of stunting but you can keep it to a min. if you take your time and do it properly. you can use super thrive to limit the stunting too. i usually try to transplant once, a week before i plan on flowering them. it seems to do well and i rarely have any kind of problems with it. but as long as you are gental you shouldnt have anything to worry about.

It depends how rough you are. A skillful gardener can transplant with minimal to basically zero shock. The better formed the root ball is, the better the plant will accept transplant.
