Transplanting plastic smart pot inside fabric pot (coco coir)

Hello guys,

This is my first grow, after my seedlings sprouted in a rapid rooter I put them inside these plastic pots:

But there were some roots wrapping around the bottom of the cup before I had time to transplant them to my bigger fabric pots.
Fast foward to today, I decided to transplant the whole cup into the fabric pot as shown:

My question is: will I run into problems down the road for doing this? Or should I just try to remove the roots from the first cup and do it "normally"?

My logic was I could damage the roots (very likely) and my plants were a bit droopy from overwatering I think, so I assumed they will simply grow like normal and not continue wrapping, because the cups are open on the sides and bottom.

If my idea was bad, I think I still have time to change it back. What do you guys think?

Thanks in advance, I just wanna make sure I don't fuck this up.

it may stunt growth a little, but no, the roots will part the slits to grow roots out of. i had a plant in one and the plant ripped it apart, it was perminantly stuck in the growth of the plant, ie it became part of the stem n root system
