Transplanting from soil to hydro... Guidance needed.

I have started my grow in soil, and have decided I would like to run hydro with this grow. What is the best way to transplant my little girl into a hydroponic setup? I have the Emily's hydrofarm garden.

Here's a picture, one week in:Day 7 - Nov. 2-BagSeed.jpg

gently was off whatever dirt is remaining on the root structure after you remove it from the container. Make sure water pressure is fairly low when rinsing. Don't want to damage roots

I did this a few weeks ago. Knight156 is right, wash off the soil, just be light fingered, and leave her well alone to recover.

I would let it get a little bigger before transplanting.
The root system is probably really fragile right now, and breaking just a few roots could really cause damage.

Let it grow a bit, and then transplant.

Put the faucet on warm water, without too much pressure.
Wash off as much dirt as you can, and transplant into hydroton.

Step 1 - Get a huge ass bowl, you know the one you can fit an entire box of cereal in.

Step 2 - Fill said bowl with water (not super cold)

Step 3 - Take plant and dip it into the water and finger the shit out of it for quite some time, obviously being as gentle as possible. Tease the root system underwater to break away all dirt.

I did this once when i first started growing and wanted to switch to hydro, although my plants were a little bit bigger

Wait for the plant to get a bit bigger and have a better root system, and then gently wash the dirt off as best you can. You don't need to get all of it off, but as much as you can gently do. I did this with some veggie seedlings this past spring to put themin DWC. They took about a week to adjust and then they started the explosive growth.

In response to pretty much everybody, I got the dirt off with ease, and not much, if any, stress to the plant. Is it ok to grow it in water now, though?? I've already did the transplant, and going back to the soil would be a bigger hassle than letting it grow this way.
