Transplanting during early flowering stage ? (growing in soil)

I've just switched to 12/12 about a week ago and I really feel my pots are too small.

They seem rootbounded already (quite a few roots coming out of the bottom).

Will the transplant affect them and potentially turn them into hemies or is it better to wait a bit deeper into flowering stage?

Thanks to all.

Better to do it early than late. If roots are coming out the bottom, you definitely need to move them to a bigger home.

Exactly my thoughts.

The guy at the local growshop told me to let them be.
I just cant believe being rootbound is good for them.

Cheers. Thanks for your help.

Ya, I just transplanted from 1.5gals to 5gals 4 weeks into flowering, give em a week and they will be fine. Just be carefull with the roots and dont touch them much.

It wont hurt your plants, only put them behind a week or two of schedule cause of the extra time needed to adjust to their new homes and deal with the shock.

Its better than doing nothing cause it will help for bigger better yeilds, but you will have to wait a wek or two longer to get it.
