Hey there everyone i had a question i have not been able to find many comment on but i have found i few that swear by this method of transplanting airpots so i figured i would ask the direct question.
Does anyone have any information on transplanting Propagation airpots directly into lets say 3 gal. airpots without removing the sides but just placing directly into larger airpot maybe just removing the bottom plate?

Thanks

Well for Autos i dont want to shock so much because of the short life. I have heard of people doing the type of transplanting i am talking about and wanted to see if i could get more info.

It wont shock them if you remove the sides. They remove really cleanly and if you add some myco on the sides of roots before transplanting, they will only like it.

I dont see any point in not removing the old airpot. Like others said, it will just needlessly restrict root growth

I’ve transplant a few air pot to airpots. Simply unravel them carefully and make sure you dig a whole that’s got at least an inch or 2 bigger. Slowly fill up the edges and give a little light press to compact. Water in and watch her explode.

I now leave out the final air pot and just start them in one.
