transplant from 16oz to 5 gallon?

like the title says, would it be ok to move my plants from 16 oz cups directly into 5 gallon pots?

If room pemits, absolutely YES!!! Leave the soil 2" from the top, so you can "flood/water" the Plant, this pushes out all the old air/oyxgen, and the water creates a vacuum that sucks in fresh air every time you water. When you see bubbles rising up, you have done good. You may also shake up the water to instill oyxgen in the water just prior to watering. Just a suggestion. I use double coffee ground filters on my drainage holes to help slow the draining.
