Hi guys,it's my first grow and i planned to grow outdoors a quick one and a swett zz both from royal queen seeds.
I am writing you because i have no patience so i started germinating both of them this morning...the problem is that the outdoor night temperature is going to be around 37/40F, but in a week or so it will reach 50/52.
I dont know if i should start them outdoors and bring them indoors at night or i should start them directly outdoors. The problem with bringing them indoors is that i will have to start them in a paper cup and only aftrwards transplant them outdoors when it gets hotter.Sorry for my bad english,it's not my main language.I understand that i already began the wrong way but any help would be really appreciated!

Transplanting will get you an extra 10 days. Auto's have a fast seeking tap root so you want to have them in their final pot no later then 10-12 days max. Any more could stunt them. I find 7 days to be the sweet spot.

Alright thank you!I have another question,so the seeds cracked but one cracked a little bit too much?It cracked but the tap root is still kinda inside it,is it normal? The other one looks great!

That one looks tricky, I'm not sure what the best answer is. I've had it happen a few times before but I can't really remember what I did or how they have turned out.. I'm guessing you could leave it in the paper towel another day to let the tap root grow out a little more or drop it in some soil.. Going the soil route I would keep it pretty shallow and do my best to have that tap root facing down.

Good luck, let us know what you do and how it turns out.

(edit) thinking on it some more probably just best to let it sit in the paper towel a little more.. I sometimes to germ tests with the seeds I make and forget about them in the paper towels.. They seem to be fine in there days after the seeds have opened.

Plant them in a decent sized pot that you are willing to drill holes in...Start the plants indoors as you anticipate then transplant pot and all directly into the soil outside when ready...the roots will extend through the holes...

Just be sure to harden the plant off for a couple of days...before transplanting..expose to dilluted light through tree branches, or combine altering shade and sun..gradually increasing amount of sun exposure...

Hardening off all depends on how strong the light you use inside the house...If its weak, the plant will not be accustomed to the rays ofnthe sun and might burn and likely stunt when put in full sun when transplanted...If you have a good light, the plant will be accustomed to higher photons and will need less if not zero hardening.

Yeah i know it's from outside, cant get any better because of the quarantine..so i just hope for the best
I'm not ragging on you, shit happens. It just doesn't look like anything I've ever seen before. If it grows, thats all that matters.
