So I have a fat monkey auto. It's at 20 days now, has been topped and has recovered well. I have seen a lot of mention on LST, but I'm not quite sure what to do. From what I can gather, I want to make the canopy even by tying branches down so they grow out and then up so they rget distributed light, but I have no idea what to do with the main stem....I've seen them twisted into all strange shapes.
Should I just worry about tying down or cropping the top branches to grow out and letting the lower branches catch up, or should I be training the bottom branches out....I have no idea.
Probably a question that you are sick of hearing, but I just want to make sure I understand what I'm actually doing. whether the idea is to make a level canopy, which seems easy enough, or whether I should be focusing on the stressing to up yield...
