Train Wreck hash?

just wanted to know if anyone has ever used Train Wreck to make hash with? If ya have how did it turn out for ya? Is it worth dedicating a whole plant to or just trim and popcorn? Thanks for any input in advance!

Just use trim and the airier buds... IMO would be a waste to use all that good TW bud to make hash.

Yeah, unless you have an insane tolerance and have to smoke or vaporize a lot of plant matter in order to achieve the desired results, I would just use popcorn buds and trim to make hash. It's nice and requires much less than the buds themselves to achieve the same effects, but it doesn't have the same pleasant taste or smell as the buds themselves. Make hash with the trim and popcorn buds and use it in conjunction with the delicious buds.

Thanks for the info Foreverstoned and purplehazin!! This is gonna be my last grow for a while so I want to produce as much as I can with everything that I have. Soo I have never made hash befor and I have close to a pound of trim, not including all the trim I will get at the end of this harvest (6 plants- 3 are 5ft tall and 3 are 3ft tall). My Q is how much hash are u guys getting per ounce-o-trim?

Really it depends on the method. Using larger micron bubble bags for instance you'd get maybe an 8th or so of hash per ounce. Using a method such as a quick BHO run or something though on unground plant matter would yield maybe 1- 1.5 grams per ounce of oil, but would be very pure. Also depends on the quality of the trim. This is all assuming you are using sugar-trim (leaves and popcorn buds with plenty of resin production). Just go for it with whatever you don't plan on smoking. Worth case scenario if you want to be 100% sure you got it all just make hash with what you have then soak all the left over plant matter in 100% isopropyl alcohol for 5-10 minutes afterward and use the oil you get from that in some edibles or something. You will be guaranteeing that you get all the active cannabinoids from the plant matter, but I don't think you'd want to smoke or vaporize the oil from the ISO wash, as it will be chock full of chlorophyll and whatnot.
