Trailer Park Blueberry

Hi Im running through some trailer park blueberry from ak bean brains. This is like my 5th grow and first time hunting a strain for keepers. I have made a bunch of mistakes but that's just the way it is learn and move on to the next mistake. I am getting better though. So don't expect a pro grow I'm going to make mistakes. Ive never seen or smoked blueberry before but I got a friend who has and is hunting blueberry and I was buying from ak for his nl5haze and saw he has it and looked up reviews on his strains and blueberry in general got hooked in to wanting to see what it's about and now we are both on a blueberry hunt.

I have had some die in seedling end up with 7.
Don't know too much about except it's a mix of 1995ish blueberry genetics and I've heard some people on here find good blueberry in these seeds.
I ave these in veg and doing good. Im soaking eight more seeds right now that's the rest of the trailer park I have. Wish I would've started them all at once but I didn't.

So I'm hunting through these plants.

The two on the right side are older I'd say two weeks give or take about a couple nodes.

Bottom right is a male and the one next to it bottom middle isn't showing sex yet.

The rest are female.

I'm happy with the male so far nice and bushy.
The two females in the top left corner look a little different from the others I think skinnier leaves. Probably too soon too tell anything but I'm looking. Looking at them to much probably. I'll have to look back at my photos to see when I started them.

If I find a good blueberry I'm definitely making seeds and keep running them until I get something real nice with more consistency

Well I'm up just got done cleaning up so here's a couple pics the clones just started perking back up they wilted over within minutes of going in the cloner. They do look like they're going to come back.

The plants I moved from one gallon to three gallon and I feel I'm putting them into flower a little early but I want to get moving through some seeds. My first pheno hunt but I'm really just looking for smell so it's easier. Don't know if I'm going to finish the ones that don't smell.

I popped the eight seeds i had left of tp bb 3 of eight didn't germinate and the other five I accidentally put in some hot soil. All but one made it . These seedlings are touchy. The plants too a little. They let you know the second. Roots organic soil has the original soil and a 707 soil. I thought the original wasnt hot and the 707 was hot but it's the other way around.

I gave them a small pinch of dry nute on the top soil one time and the leaves just got burnt edges real quick. I haven't given them nutes since and they bounced back pretty quick. They droop quick when watered. I think the soil is pretty hot which I like I don't have to worry about them. Just tap water not not even checking the pH. My water runs about 6.7 to 7 which is high too me but they look great so I'm not gonna change anything. Do they look like maybe the Nitrogen is too high?

So I end up with one seedling to add to the seven hope it's a male so I can have something to choose from besides having just one male.
Also got my 907 blue genes from dagga and got a freebie of m5 x dj short blueberry f5 12 regular seeds. Ive read a bunch of reviews that djs bb isn't what it used to be but I'm definately going to pop these 907 bg in a couple weeks try and time it where the tpbb will be finished at the same time the 907 BB are ready to flip.

Day after transplant and taking clones they both look good back to praying.
The bottom right plant is red grape lebanese x (acc)RKS rest are tpbb.

No nutes just roots organic original soil.
Tap water my water my tap is 6.7 to 7
No bb smell yet
I've only taken cuts for cloning a couple times so my choice for cuts and my triming of the cuts maybe could've been better.
Did some stem runs one or two might seem sweet not sure. The red grape has a sweeter smelling stem run than the bb.

I've gotten a lot better at not over watering or using too much nutes. Also Im trying to take care of my roots better by going from solo cup to one gallon then 3 gallon trying not to get root bound. I hope I don't need to transplant again.

I think it's showing for the better.

It's been a week in 12/12 and they are starting to stretch and show signs of flowering. Turned the light up a little. No smell yet. The stem run on the ones with narrower leaves do have a sweetness to them the more indica leaves don't have a sweetness. Probably doesn't mean anything anyway. Still just water no nutes and not testing the pH either. The male looks like it's going to start dropping pollen in the next week or two

Quick update. Not much to say right now. They're doing good. Can't smell them yet but I haven't been in there too much and the exhaust fan is turned up to keep the heat down. I touched the buds and they smell sweet some stronger than other and I want to say it smells like blueberries but it's too soon to tell there's something there though. No nutes yet.

This weekend I'm gonna pull them out maybe do a little and try some nutes. I will have a better idea this weekend if what I got.PXL_20240906_014830653.jpgPXL_20240906_014821268.jpgPXL_20240906_014809785.jpgPXL_20240906_014709577.jpg

Wish I would have lollipopped them a week or two ago when I pull them out this weekend I still might idk. The male is outside in the shed dropping pollen I have it set up to catch pollen. I pulled the male when it started dropping pollen because I have a couple other plant I don't want pollinated and I don't trust my carbon filter to catch all the pollen

I went through them and trimmed them up and pinched off the smaller budsights leaving the tops of branches. Took q-tips rolled them in pollen and hit all the side branches with pollen. I didn't pollinate the main too colas hoping to keep them somewhat seed free. I know they will get germinated with some hoping not that much and have them flowering nutes and molasses.

Checked for smell and I'm happy to say there is blueberry smell there. Each one is different in some way. One has no blueberry smell. Another has blueberry with a gassy smell.
I called a buddy over to check and see what he says and we agree.

#2 is straight bb smell sweet no gas just sweet bb and as it has the second best buds size and growth.

#5 is second it's bb smell but not as pure as #2.
5 has a little gas it's good.

The one and only male I got lucky with it has good branches thick and bushy with a slight bb smell.

All of them are lacking Trichomes on the leaves imo.
Friends says its early and not concerning yet.

I have never smoked or seen bb weed before and it's kind of exciting to touch the buds and smell bb on your fingers. It smell like no other berry or fruit other than bb. It's very cool. Makes we want to see if nanna smell like bananas.

To be clear though I have to touch the buds and get my fingers a little sticky to be able to smell it. It's not a wafting aroma I smell when I open the tent. And it's still early weeks to go and the smells should get better
I'm happy think I might go touch it and get another whiff.
