TowerDog & FlowerGirls Journal: Copycat AERO-2400 watts-Jillybean-PowerKush-Bagseed

weird. did you sterilize your scissors? or did your scissors come in contact with any pH up or down by any chance? cause I know sometimes plant life is used as ph indicators meaning they turn colors at specific pH. Like they used to use red cabbage for ph tests for instance. acidity would turn the solution dark purple. wash your scissors and cut off the black regardless of what it is you probably don't want it in there.
I am always super carefull when cutting clones. rubber gloves and sterileize with hand sanitizer then rinse everything real good. the only thing that i did diferant is i used 1/2 of the recommended dose of clonex. last time i used a 1/4 strength.

maybe i didnt rinse the fiskers off good enough. thanks for the help

The problem Im having is that I will harvest soon and I only have the room Im growing in for drying if I made the similar box I guess it lets in just very small amounts of light and I can fix that so I could set them inside my room and let them dry!! Considering that my flower room has the perfect drying conditions in there right now about 70 all the time and humidity is between 40 and 50 % 24/7!! Haze2
I dont see why that wouldnt work. I just have it chillin in my basement. I dont kno if it makes the drying process go any faster but its works out good for people that are in the same boat as us. good luck man. happy harvest

Thanks Tower&Flower, It will be a happy one got some fruity potent strains this time around and lots of em!! Haze2

In the first 3 pics the shorter fatter colas are powerkush and the taller ones are jillybean. EDIT: Table 1=is on week 6 and table 2= week 3

I put 2 bagseed and 1 jillybean that I was useing for moms in the flower room. The bagseed is ok but not worthy enough to take up as much space as they were. The jillybean that I am flowering is sativa dom. way to stretchy for what I am trying to achieve. They are gonna be some fuckin monsters for sure.

Last 3 pics are of the stretchy ass jillybean. I used Humboldt county's own gravity on my last grow and was very happy with the results. So I went and got snow storm ultra and bushmaster(trying it out on those moms). I hope all of their products work as good as their Gravity does. If not I am gonna ave to figure out a way to get my tables lower to the ground.

Some bud porn for you guys!:hump:

The clones that I have in my cloner right now finally have roots after 2 weeks. I will put them into the flower room next week. Hopefully between the short veg and bushmaster, my 3rd table will turn out a little better(shorter/stockier). I guess i need to play around with my cloning method. 2 weeks seems way to long.

Tell me what I am doin wrong.....
I cut the clones off of mature moms and as soon as I cut the clone i put it in water and re-cut the stem under water. The water has clonex at 1/4 strength of the recommended dose. I let them soak in the water for 45-min to an hour. I use r o water, 1 min on 5 min off timer, and aquarium heater set to 72-73 F.

What works good for me is just taking the cut at a nice angle, then I take a razor and very carefully shave the outside layer from the cut up about a half inch then I take and dip that in some clonex rooting gel and then straight into the cloner and it works great more than most I have about 95% success rate. hey tower, be super careful with snowstorm and purple maxx in aero set-ups. it causes a bacteria for some reason. its best to add it 2 days before a res change and then get it out of there. other than that its good stuff.

Thanks for the info guys. Haze2 I did that on my last batch of clones and those rooted 3 or 4 days faster then this batch. Im ok with it taking 10-11 days for them to root but I have seen a lot of other people say they have roots in 5 days. I guess if that is the only thing that you guys see that i am doin wrong then im doin pretty good.

I have my dates all fuct up. Table 1 is starting week 6. It was started on march 13th. The powerkush buds are gettin fuckin huge!

I put a new batch of clones in the cloner. I cleaned everything with 30% h2o2 and bleach. So far no black shit (nock on wood). I took clones off of my 2 powerkush moms and a new jillybean mom. She has nice tight nodes and leans more on the indica side. She also has quite a bit of purple on her.

I setup my third table with my shit batch of clones. Due to my problem with these clones I wasn't able to completely fill up the table. Still tryin to get the op dialed in but we have sure come a long way from where we were.

This fuckin site isnt letting me upload pics right now. I will try later.

I gave 3 ml/gal H2O2 to recent clippings (1 week old) in DWC once because of mold problems, the mold went away and the plants seemed unaffected. Never tried earlier than that on clones, but I never use H2O2 unless i'm getting mold problems. Is there a benefit to using it on otherwise healthy plants and reservoirs?

I want to use it to prevent any type of mold. I didnt know if it would hurt them.

Thanks dude. I appreciate that. Makes me feel better knowing that someone is checking up on me. making sure I dont make to many mistakes. How are things goin for you?

Alright running out of space in my cab With 5 females 3 in 3 gallon pots started with 10 from seed. I've been trying to re-veg, but after 2 weeks of 12/12 they seem to be stuck somewhere in between which is kind of bothersome considering I planed on putting them outside in the middle of may.
