they came at exactly the same time i posted that
Be gentle its my first grow! I am building up to 4 flowering systems with 2 600w dual bulb ballasts, 1 light per system. I have run 240v to the room and have a decent power controller and some stink proofing with the carbon filter with the inline fan boxed in for noise reduction piped into the rooms cold air return. Results so far are a stink free home and a nice small scale grow in a spare bedroom. Also have my guard dog on duty! All hints and tips welcome!

Welcome aboard fellow stink buddy! Great job, nice setup - I've been thinking about those dual 600W Lumateks, I'm just not to sure about running the 240v line myself as I would have to add a new breaker to the box - would you recommend the ballast?
Can't wait to see your harvest. Subscribed and pulling up a seat.
I would totally recommend running the 240v to your room depending on your comfort with projects, I build and remodel homes so it wasn't so bad...still asked some advice from some stink buddies! Adding the breaker was the easy part! As for the ballast, its awesome! It is barely warm to the touch and the fact you run 2 lamps from one ballast is another plus for me! Thanks for subscribing and I'm psyched to see what this system can produce!

Yep the filter is the trash can looking thing in the corner with the wooden box ontop. I built the box to keep the noise down of the inline fan, then used insulated ducting to take it to the air return and mounted it to a plate I made so it was air tight. My room is getting stinkier everyday, but you would never even know it walking into my house

Well, had a few glitches today, during the night a tie broke that was holding my biggest plants main stem down and safe from the light, long story short by the time I rescued it, the tip top was pretty dried up, time will tell if it can heal itself. Also had a blockage in the post with the 3 monsters which caused a leak which I was able to fix by making a stent out of pvc so the water could exit the root mass! More excitement than I ever want to have in a day in my grow room! Onto the pics...
