I've got an acoustic 6 inch tornado box fan 1500, got this because I've heard it quiet however it's fucking noisy lol .
Using 159x600 rhino pro filter with acoustic ducting although I've run out so don't have the exhaust ducting on yet.
Also using a German made 5setting variable voltage controler to adjust the speed . The idea was to get over powered fan and turn it down to have good airflow at low noise .
Speed 1 is fine but only like a trickle air flow, speed 2 and above is noticeable even outside the room!
Going to get some more ducting today and try it again but I fear the fan noise itself is too high.
Do I need a different controller? I'm not looking for a fancy one just a manually operated one that doesn't create a hum. My current one worked perfectly on a 6inch AVK fan but doesn't seem to like the tornado .
