Tops Yellowing during Transition to Flower

I'm doing DWC using botanic-are nutrients for veg and flower. also a cal mag supplement. just tap water. my room temps are about 71F. my water temps are around 74F. i always keep my PH between 5.8 - 6.2. i started clones in an aero cloner. now I'm in a DWC system. 2 air pumps with stones. vegged with a 400w mh 24/7. i been in flower12/12 for a few days now under a 600w hps. my tops are starting to yellow. like where the new leaf growth it. i been following the directions exactly. everything went perfect for veg. the directions say for the transition phase to add 1tbs of the veg solution, and 1 tbs of the flower solution per gallon of water. I'm not sure whats wrong. last night i emptied out about a gallon and added just water to slightly dilute the solution. PH was 6.1. will be back over there soon to see what happen. anyone have any clue? should i have started out with less flower solution? I've only been under 12/12 for a few days.

found the problem. N deficiency. looked like a zinc deficiency but it was N. wish i could rep myself.

A lot of people use a small amount of their grow nutrient mixed in with their flower
regiment to help give a slight boost in N, this will help during the transition phase.

it actually did look a lot like a zinc def especially from pics on the net. but found out there was no way because there is plenty of zinc in the tap water i use and also my ph is almost always 5.8-6.2. i used to use RO water but switched to tap and dont even let the chlorine evaporate out. makes virtually no difference from what i see. lake mi is great water though anyway. i hear bad things about chlorine in tap water but i dont see why it matters. plants dont absorb it.

thanks for the post +rep. i think i followed the direction too literal. during mature veg i was doing 2 tbsp of the veg solution just as stated in the instructions. they say for transition to do 1 tbsp of the veg stuff and 1 tbsp of the flower stuff. i should have stuck with the 2 tbsp per gallon of the veg. then when my flowers start forming in about a week, maybe i'll do 1.5 tbsp veg, then .5 tbsp of the flower stuff. otherwise its coming along very nice. my first time with hydro from start to finish. i'll post some pics eventually.
