Topping

Can you top and put straight to flower or is there a minimum amount of time to be ok.

Give it 7-10 days to recover from the stress.

I never saw any stress from topping, or from immediately going to flower afterwards.
the longer you veg without topping though, the heavier your yields

Thanks for advice guys i topped left about 8 days and topped again and its been 3 days so probably wait 4 days then if thats gonna be best option thanks

Well, personally I leave them about if not over week before I'd flower anyway.
But as the other guy stated, you could switch it as soon as you top them.

They'll not flower right away, it'll take awhile for it to switch, but it's more up to the growers preference.
I guess if you were in a rush you could, but I'd see no other reason to flip so quickly.

Imo, you should try FIM-ing next or on your next grow & see which works best for you.
It's basically all what works best for the grower, although FYI some strains won't react well to topping - hence why you should also try fiming.

A few days aint going to make much difference time whise so i will leave at at least a wk to 10 days but yeh could do with it asap lol, i tried timming just on a couple of plants and it worked on most but was abit hit and miss probably down to my technique and love how it sprouted 4 new sites on each fim, im a sucker for symmetry though ha do you just fim or a mixture of all techniques? Ive done a few grows and like trying different things on a couple of plants, got any tips on your favourite thing youve grown ?

lol I hear you, well. If you'd like it a bit sooner, flip her sooner. It's not going to hurt her, just you'll harvest a week or so earlier. You'd only gain a few extra grams waiting. But it soon accumulates over your total amount of plants.

lollipopping? Remember to only trim the lower growth, it'll drain energy the plant would be using on top.
I remember trimming off all my fan leaves years ago & wondering why it was so slow lol

Haha, yeah. I kinda like it myself...if a plant yields say 71g I'd almost feel wronged....better smoke that extra one gram so it's even lol

Typically during a grow, I'd LST asap depending on the size, then fim (if I'm feeling greedy, I'd top twice) then lollipop.

But it's literally all up to what works for the grower & the strain they're growing.
You've a brilliant attitude towards growing as you've done several cycles & several strains, all I can recommend is that you keep experimenting with techniques & strains.

Personally I like the bros grim - C99. It's my main commercial strain to be honest.
Indica dom, fast flower, great yield, potent with a lovely citrus/grapefruit taste & an extremely hardly little plant.
As for personal, I like GG#4 & exodus. Although they're clone only strains they might be harder to find.
I've some aurora indica vegging at the minute & some purple power, holldands hope & early girl ready to go outside in the next few weeks.

Literally some of the best product I've produced, came from bagseed lol & to this day I've no idea what they ever were.

What is it that you'd like from a pant & I could recommend a few for you going by my experiences?
Yield, potency, indica/sativa, indoor/out? Is it to trade, or for personal?

You no what im not really sure what i like really for years ive been buying bud off people and rarely did anyone say what it was and the ones who did when ive looked up what they said ie its cheese ive looked up cheese with my naivety before hand thinking ile get that one ! Not realising how many different types there are of strains lol but of the grows ive done about 20 different strains and of them some were where I'd got packs of seeds and others single free seeds you get my absolute favourite for taste was a freebie seed i got dinfim seeds origional amnesia, i cut down at least a wk before it should of been just because it was a singl seed i had and i just wanted to get it all cut down on 1 go so really want to try that again but was a really tall plant not suitable for my setup, for taste and yield barney's farm critical kush kush i ordered that again but by mistake they sent cookie kush and i couldn't be bothered sending bk so trying that now. When picking plants at min to grow though my main thing to go off is yield ! Funny thing is though the big hitters for that on paper have been average by my results ie dr kripplings incredible bulk and bomv seeds thc bomb and plants where i wasnt expecting good yields have been good to me so site stats dont mean as much to me anymore lol dominant indicas are my fav picks.

Also i tried c99 and really liked the taste but my results weight wize was poor but wvery grow so far conditions not been perfect but ive been eliminating these over my grows and this will be first grow where im happy i got what i need to maintain optimal levels of conditions. Ive topped and thimbed every grow except the last but my last grow was the best yet unexpectadly because i did no work or training hopefully down to having everything dialled in condition wize, this grow topped every plant twice so hopefully with conditions being good from start good things to come.
