How long should I wait after I toped my photos to flip them do I need to wait till New growth comes in or does it matter?

You should definitely wait a couple days before flip. The plant needs to heal and giving it less lights would just add more stress.

This is a 2 sided coin, there's good stress and there's bad stress. good stress promotes growth bad stress stalls it. It all comes down to how heavily did you top. The plant can withstand stress to a certain point and it will use it to its advantage. If your unsure, then it's best to wait a few days to see the plants response and how quickly it's made.
