Topping your plant

Where do you make the cut on the plant? How many colas can you get off of using this method ? Do you get more bud produced by using this method?

I am still am a believer in when growing outside, to not top, better to slowly bend branches down and then tie down. This is only from research, not by my experience, for this is my first outdoor grow. Although Uncle Ben's technique sure has benefits, keeping the plant shorter and bushier. I am going to try both ways this year

I'm going with Early Skunk for this summers grow. First time that I grew it heard alot of good things about it. Going to try three different ways. First just let some grow with out topping or bending anything. Then LST some. Ithat last year to 2 plant and they grew great. The last way is to do the Uncle Ben's topping method.

Thanks guys! I have read Uncle Ben's methods several times. I am just confused on a few things. What exactly are nodes and true nodes? I am a first time grower so i am just trying to cover everything so i can get big healthy plants!
