Whats up paul so instead of cutting the top of do you just pinch it. Thats the non violent way i know but never tried it before

Hey colts77 great pictures is the 4th picture of when you start to train at 4 weeks and also say when i got them like you do and i want to put them outside in bigger pots do i still want to keep them tied down or will they grow like that?

Yes sir it is, thats the first tie down... it will right itself then u repeat the process....also first time i transplanted from those orange pots to the smartpots, i unhooked from the pot bit left the ties on the branches... i transplanted then tied em back to the pot....once flower started or was about to i untied them and they stood like that

Read that thread on 'main lineing' and I love it. I just happened to have some sprouts ( Wonder Woman ) that I can try it out on. I topped and trimmed them right after reading up on the way its done.

Just to show what bending over a way to tall plant can do , I trotted out my camera to the garden this morning and took a couple of pictures of one of the chrismas trees that I tied down:

This is a Wonder Woman. It is aprox 50/50 indica sativa. It measured a little over 12 ft. from the base of the main stalk and I could not check the top cola or leaves for bugs or mold the way it was. Notice how the branches are now thinking that they are all the 'top' of the plant. I do believe that this will vastly improve the yeild over what an untopped plant would produce. I bent this one a little over a week ago and over several days so as to be gentle with it.

Topping and a lil super cropping on the bigger one.
Check out my thread I just updated it with a video where you can see the stem and see where I topped them

these pics are kind of old.
