ive always topped to get those monster plants, makes more bushy gets more colas i top dozens of times per plant but dont see people do it much is this more effective than soging

i dont really use sog myself but its got its advantages, a ton of small plants with little veg time can fill an area just as well as 1 plant vegged a long time to fill in the whole area. you get more harvests in and since you are using enough plants with sog to fill the whole area your yeild will be just about the same each harvest.

Sog is great for perpetual grows, fast turn arounds and steady harvests. As said, short veg times to get plants into flower quicker. Topping can yield well as well. Combine the 2 for an even better time. Topping will keep the original plant in veg longer (healing between each cut) but more colas. From what I have personally experienced though is the colas don't seem to get as big. Maybe it's just me though.

I topped my Royal-Haze fem over 40 times and have over '90' top's !! she has approx 2-3 weeks left until Harvest.. I chose to SCROG her as this seems the best way to achieve a high yield in a Cab. I vegged her for over 2 Months and she both looks and smells amazing, She is in DWC (9L Pot) and has grown to almost 5' wide, 3' tall and 2.5' deep, Hope ya like the pic...Watch out for my MONDAY-UPDATE coming later today, Below I've added a LINK :-

Yeah the Cola's dont get as big
... But it does mean that they dry quicker and are less prone to mould issues - STELTHY

No, that is pretty common. But if you top right the three or four colas you do get should, every time, add up to be more than what you would get from just one large cola.
What's the name of the game, one cola that looks really impressive or more total grams?

I think I just came. Nice scrog.

That's nuts stelthy, very nicely executed. I always top my plants a couple times before flower, but have never tried SOG...
Simply cause I'm lazy...

Yeah, my problem is that when I top, I get over zealous and don't stop at just a few. Lol. Glad I now know it is normal.
