for some reason the stalk is hard to take root, not impossible just not as good as the shoots

yes as long as your plant has 4 nodes you can cut the fifth

should learn to FIM your plant instead of toppng u get more shoots

there is never any reason to top besides space/danger to your area

Yea i kno haha that what i just said, im going to topp my plants because i have a smaller grow space, and i want short bushy plants

Cut directly above 5th,6th node. Should see the 2 new shoots in a few days.
If space promotes, try taking some of the main leafs off, gets more light in to the stem area, promoting more shoots to grow.

why would someone want to "top" the plant?

it makes the plants short and bushy, with more cola's, good for small grow aeras
